INSPIRATION

Living near the ocean, I’m always aware of how the light changes at the end of the day. There’s a particular moment — when the sky turns soft peach, and the water reflects hints of pink and gold — that feels like a gift. The air smells faintly of salt. Everything slows.

The white blooms in this piece feel like wild coastal flowers — resilient and reaching — standing tall against the glow of a sunset ocean sky. The scattered gold details are my quiet nod to sunlight and gratitude, a reminder that even small moments hold shimmer.

This painting is about salt air, warm light, and the calm that comes when you pause long enough to notice beauty.
